ATEbank – EBRD “Trade Facilitation Program”

The “Trade Facilitation Program” developed by EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development), reinforces foreign trade in the Eastern European and former Soviet Union countries.

The European Bank secures the payments of those trading with these countries.

By joining this program, ATEbank confirms Documentary Credits, Standby Letters of Credit or Letters of Guarantee issued by participating banks and undertakes – on behalf of its customers – the responsibility for the solvency of these banks, with the support of European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

This program offers our customers (importers – exporters dealing with Eastern European and former Soviet Union countries) the possibility to undertake more business opportunities – at the moment of their presentation – since the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development covers the risk of commercial and political events.
