The cardholder may load the card with the amount he wishes each time to use.
Card’s Usage:
Used 24 hours anywhere in the world with the sign VISA, for:
- Shopping/Payments/subscriptions through Internet (without the physical presence of the card)
- Purchases though P.O.S. devices to shops and places of sales in Greece and abroad, particularly though new technology devices that request PIN and no additional authentication of the holder from the dealer is required.
- Telephone and mail order (without the physical presence of the card)
- Cash withdrawals at any ATM worldwide
- Cash withdrawals at any ATM of ATEbank free of charge
Secure Transactions:
ATEbank Prepaid Card is a chip technology card that meets all international safety standards and EMV standardization. It’s safe since you have available only the amount of money you will use immediately. Loading with money only when needed. You can use it on your purchases, and then when needed you can load it again.
In this way the owner is not exposed to potential risks of card misuse by others for large amounts.
Continuous updating of the available amount balance and card’s transactions
You will be informed about:
a) your monthly transactions from our branches, through e-mail or through ΑΤΕ Web Banking internet service
b) your card’s balance from our ATM network and third-party ATMs.
c) your last ten movements from our ATM network.
Target to
The card can be used by ATEbank customers and others/third parties.
It can be given as a gift to friends and loved ones or even to teenagers from the age of 14, who do not yet use deposit accounts and have no ability to use credit card, offering them security without having to carry cash. Applicant must be over 18 years.
Transactions Limits
The total available amount with which a card is loaded with one or more successive loads cannot exceed the balance of €2.500.
The maximum amount of each purchase can be up to the card’s available each time amount.
The maximum cash withdrawal amount through ATEbank ATMs is up to €1.500 (per transaction/ per day) and the limit of each bank for ATM withdrawals from third parties.
In case the card is given to third person – bearer, the limits are reduced to €1.000 per calendar year.

through our branches, ATMs and ΑΤΕ Web Banking internet service. The card can be used at the same time.
