Having strengthened its balance sheet in 2009 through the recognition of the needed impairments, ATEbank, intends, with the agreement of its main shareholder, to proceed with a share capital increase. The Greek State will participate in the share capital increase, which will reinforce the Bank’s position.

ATEbank will promptly inform the investor community as soon as the relevant decisions are taken.
